Strategic Procurement, Logistics & Inventory Manager
We are a leading, fast-growing technology company dedicated to developing cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. Our products are engineered and manufactured to the highest market standards. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative Procurement, Logistics & Inventory Manager to lead our product-specific purchasing, international shipping, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will combine supply chain expertise with a strong service-oriented approach to support our internal teams and maintain absolute excellence.
In this role, you will take full, end-to-end ownership of the company’s supply chain. This includes managing specialized product procurement, international logistics, and total inventory management. A critical component of this role is acting as a trusted service provider to internal company stakeholders (such as R&D, Engineering, and Operations), ensuring their material and equipment needs are met promptly and seamlessly. You will collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) to guarantee that every component meets our rigorous standards, balancing quality compliance, cost-efficiency, and exceptional internal service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product-Specific & Strategic Procurement: Lead the sourcing and purchasing of specialized components, raw materials, and dedicated equipment required for product manufacturing, R&D, and cleanroom/lab infrastructure.
- Internal Customer Service: Act as the primary focal point for all internal departments regarding procurement and logistics needs. Provide high-quality, responsive, and proactive service to company employees, ensuring clear communication, timely updates on order statuses, and swift resolution of internal requests.
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with global and local suppliers. Conduct high-level negotiations to secure optimal pricing, favorable payment terms, and robust framework agreements without compromising on quality.
- Quality Assurance & Standards Alignment: Work in tight alignment with the QA team to ensure all incoming materials meet industry regulations, internal standards, and engineering specifications. Manage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes and non-conformance reports (MRB) directly with suppliers.
- Global Logistics & Freight Forwarding: Oversee international shipping operations (import/export), coordinating closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and couriers (e.g., UPS). Ensure accurate HS tariff classification and seamless customs clearance to guarantee Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery.
- Inventory Control & Warehouse Management: Take full responsibility for inventory accuracy across all storage facilities. Define minimum/maximum inventory thresholds, conduct routine physical counts, prevent stockouts, and maintain precise digital tracking.
- ERP Data Integrity: Maintain, update, and optimize supply chain data within the company's ERP system, generating analytical reports to drive continuous process improvements. That is used for creating requisitions 'from scratch'
